We are now in Chapter 3 of our Read-Aloud Touching Spirit Bear. We are enjoying it so far. It's great to have the audio books, which is how we've been listening to the novel.
Here is a little bio about Ben Mikaelsen, author of Touching Spirit Bear:
Ben Mikaelsen was born in La Paz, Bolivia, in 1952.
He currently lives outside Bozeman, Montana. He likes
adventure, travel, and odd pets. He and his wife adopted a 700-pound black bear named Buffy from a research facility because it had been declawed and could no longer survive in the wild. Mikaelsen has loved writing since he was ten. He has won the International Reading Association Award and the Western Writers of America Spur Award.Here are your new vocab words for October 29th.
